Yesterday our church launched "Connect Groups" which is our new small group ministry. Last night we started a new Group and it was awesome! It was so fun to be in group again as we didn't meet with a small group at all last year. The group we joined is for Young Adults so Shiloh said he feels like the old man of the group! I told him "Someone has to be the oldest!" It was amazing to meet so many new people that we have never even seen at church. One of the girls in the group we knew (other than our leaders Jeff & Ciana + James & Melissa) as she was a student on the AIM (Youth missions) trip we took back in July 2005 so that was really fun to reconnect.
I'm excited to hear other stories from people's groups that meet this week. I feel like we as a staff (at church) have put so much work (sweat & tears!!) into this minstry it is great to see it launch. And we want feedback!! If you are in the Lincoln area and haven't joined a group yet, get plugged in!!
