We had a wonderful visit with all of our family that came to see us and we are still cleaning up birthday party items in the house! So thankful for a wonderful family who makes birthdays special each year.
So today is Mother's Day and I'm sending a special "Happy Mother's Day" to my Momma! I seriously have the best Mom who has loved and cared for me through the good times and my awful teenage years and came out the other side my best friend. She is a Mom who loves Jesus and it shines out from her. Thank you Momma for loving me, encouraging me across the many miles we are apart, praying for me and never giving up hope praying for many things in my life. You have given me an amazing example of a servant heart and I only hope to be a as wonderful a mother as you have been to us!
And of course my two special gifts from God who make this mother's day so much sweeter each year! This morning Ezekiel came in and wished me a "Happy Mothers Day!" first thing in the morning, complete with a hug, kiss, a special card and a flower craft he made for me. It is wonderful as children get older and you don't have to prompt them to say things you want to hear. His words were like sweet honey today telling me i'm the best mom ever. Feeling such wonderful joy today and doubly blessed this year with my TWO children!!
